Lanark man recognised for ambulance work in new year honours list

  • Ian Shanley of Lanark was awarded the MBE in the new year honours list

Lanark man Ian Shanley has been recognised for his work in emergency healthcare as he was awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) in the new year honours list.

Ian is the ICT General Manager with the Scottish Ambulance Service, and receives his award for 'services to emergency healthcare'.

Congratulations to Ian Shanley for getting such a prestigious award for his dedication to the Ambulance Service. You should be very proud of receiving the MBE. Many thanks for your contribution to the NHS at Biochemistry GRI also where your talents were also very much appreciated prior to you joining the Ambulance Service. Well Done Ian...
